10 HOWARD WERNER
Reform Gallery is proud to present recent works by acclaimed direct
carving sculptor Howard Werner.  As a student of Jon Brooks at The School of American Craftsmen at RIT in the mid 70’s Howard learned to use a chainsaw, and has spent the past 30 years fashioning an impressive resume.  He now splits his time between his New York and Arizona studios, working with woods native to where he is at any given time.
“Most of the power of my pieces comes from the raw material in and of       itself and I am more at ease with nature taking some of the credit” We have examples of Howard’s “Heroic Vessels” as well as functionalist furniture pieces. I encourage you to come in to the gallery to experience these works, as the surface and texture of these magnificent pieces is best experienced in person.
